From old-vines grown at 800–1,000 meters in Cebreros (Sierra de Gredos), on granitic sandy soils with slate outcrops, Naranjas Azules is a bright, transparent, ultra-fresh Spanish wine with a distinctive high-altitude edge.
Vinified like a delicate “white-from-red”: low-temperature fermentation in concrete tanks, direct press, and no skin contact. In the glass: very pale pink with amber reflections. On the nose: strawberry, cherry, red fruits, plus jasmine, mint, and balsamic notes. Light and agile on the palate, fresh, persistent, round, with an aromatic finish and a subtle, signature bitter tone. Best served chilled (~8°C)—excellent as an aperitif and with tuna, salmon, rice, pasta, and cheeses.
