Joseph Perrier Le Ciergelot 2020 is a single-parcel, single-varietal vintage Champagne from the Maison’s Les Parcellaires collection, created to express its historic vineyards with exceptional precision. Made exclusively from 100% Meunier grown on the Le Ciergelot ZD214 parcel in Verneuil, Vallée de la Marne, the vines were planted in 1969 on a south-facing, mid-slope site with clay-limestone soils.
Produced as a Brut Nature with zero dosage, Le Ciergelot allows the character of the Meunier and its terroir to take center stage. The 2020 vintage was matured for 36 months and released in extremely limited quantities—only 4,992 bottles and 224 magnums. It reveals red fruit, grenadine, violet and eucalyptus aromas, followed by a soft, silky palate with yellow-fruit notes and an enveloping finish.
