Anko Torrontés is a 100% Torrontés white wine produced by Estancia Los Cardones in Salta, Argentina. The winery is located in Tolombón, south of Cafayate, on the eastern slopes of the Calchaquí Valleys, an area characterized by high elevation, dry conditions and rocky soils rich in fragmented slate.
The grapes are harvested in March and undergo gentle pressing followed by eight hours of pre-fermentation cold maceration. Fermentation uses natural yeasts and lasts approximately 14 days, with no malolactic fermentation and no barrel aging. The result emphasizes Torrontés’ floral and citrus character, natural acidity and a bright, clean finish.
