Don Julio 1942 is an Añejo tequila from Don Julio, handcrafted in tribute to 1942, the year Don Julio González began his tequila-making journey. Made in Mexico from 100% Blue Weber Agave, the expression was originally launched to commemorate González’s 60th anniversary in the tequila industry.
Produced in small batches, Don Julio 1942 is aged for 24+ months in ex-bourbon American white oak casks. Extended maturation develops its signature profile of caramel, chocolate, vanilla, warm oak and roasted agave, complemented by tropical fruit nuances and a long, rich finish.
