The Tokaj region, nestled in the northeastern mountains of Hungary known as Tokaj-Hegyalja, is home to the town of Tolcsva and the renowned Oremus wineries at its geographic heart. Recognizing its exceptional winemaking conditions and cultural significance, UNESCO granted Tokaj World Heritage status in 2002.

In 1993, just three years after the fall of communism, the Alvarez family turned their attention to Hungary, establishing Tokaj-Oremus Viñedos y Bodegas. The estate operates primarily from Tolcsva, where a modern winery was erected in 1999, seamlessly integrated with historic 13th-century cellars. The Alvarez family has meticulously studied and respected the region's rich winemaking heritage, shaping its production processes and historical narrative.

This is a great place to find very exclusive and rare-to-find wines, liquors and other goodies. Not only you can find these, but also, you can bring your friends and do wine/whiskey tasting, hangout and socialize. They also do special events. Management is friendly, knowledgeable of the industry and helpful. I heard they will be having art from local artists on display as well so I’m looking forward to that. 🙂

Great vibes, it's definitely the best liquor store in the area. Whatever expensive whiskey, wine, champagne or any other spirit you may think of finding in the San Juan Metro area they have it in the heart of San Sebastián. Attention is exceptional and the prices are what you'd expect of coming out of those tourist traps in the metro area. I highly recommend and suggest and if you're into any spirit and in the west side of Puerto Rico please come and visit them. I assure you you will not be disappointed
