Riazul Plata is a premium unaged tequila made from 100% hand-selected Blue Weber Agave grown for approximately seven years in the Jalisco Highlands of Mexico. Riazul describes Plata as its purest expression of agave, designed to preserve the fresh character of the spirit without the influence of barrel maturation.
The agave piñas are hand-cut, steam-cooked in autoclaves and crushed with traditional roller mills without the use of diffusers. The extracted juice undergoes a three-day open-air fermentation with natural yeasts before being double distilled—first in stainless steel and then in copper. The result is a clear, smooth tequila with herbal and spicy aromatics, fresh fruit character and a clean, dry finish.
