Siete Rayas Yolixpa is a traditional Mexican herbal liqueur from the Sierra Norte of Puebla. It is produced from aguardiente de piloncillo, a cane-based spirit, infused with locally sourced herbs and citrus that give the liqueur its distinctive balance of sweet, herbal, citrus and gently bitter flavors.
Produced in the highlands of Apulco and Teziutlán, Puebla, by maestros destiladores Joaquín Varela and Alberto Hakim, Siete Rayas is bottled at 30% ABV. The infusion is rested for approximately two to four months in glass, developing aromatic notes reminiscent of anise, lemon verbena, chamomile and honey.
