The Botanist Islay Cask Aged Gin is a cask-matured expression produced at Bruichladdich Distillery on the Isle of Islay, Scotland. It builds on The Botanist’s signature gin, distilled with 22 wild botanicals hand-foraged on Islay, adding extended oak maturation for greater depth and richness.
Matured for a minimum of three years, the final gin combines spirit from eight different cask types, including wine and spirits casks. Bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof), it layers the gin’s juniper, citrus and herbal character with ripe fruit, vanilla, toasted oak and warming spice.
