Discover The Macallan Guardian Oak, a Cirque du Soleil collaboration matured in sherry-seasoned European oak with rich dried fruit, spice and oak.

The Macallan Harmony Collection Guardian Oak is the travel-exclusive expression from the fourth release of The Macallan Harmony Collection, created in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil to celebrate The Macallan’s 200th anniversary. The release explores the importance of oak to The Macallan and is paired with Vibrant Oak, showcasing the contrasting influence of European and American oak. Guardian Oak was released with limited worldwide availability through Macallan boutiques, key airports and selected duty-free locations.

Created by The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team, Guardian Oak is matured in a combination of first-fill sherry-seasoned European oak casks and refill sherry casks. This European-oak focus develops a rich profile of dates, figs, raisins, orange peel, dark chocolate and warming nutmeg, culminating in a long, oak-driven finish. Its presentation incorporates oak chippings left over from cask production, while Cirque du Soleil’s artwork depicts Davonna, the guardian character intertwined with a European oak tree.
