Valdespino Vermouth Origen is a traditional Spanish vermouth produced by historic Bodega Valdespino in Jerez de la Frontera, Andalucía. Its base is a coupage of very old Oloroso and Moscatel wines, combining the oxidative richness of mature Jerez wine with the aromatic citrus character of Moscatel.
The wine undergoes hydro-alcoholic maceration with botanicals including artemisia, coriander, elderberry, gentian, quassia, chamomile, clove, cinnamon, dried Seville orange and juniper berries. The final blend is then aged in casks previously used for Valdespino Oloroso, adding depth and integration to its citrus, spice and bittersweet herbal profile. It is bottled at 15% ABV.
