Discover Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection Sweet Oak Bourbon, a limited-edition Kentucky whiskey aged in Chinkapin oak barrels with rich fruit and spice notes.
Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection Sweet Oak Bourbon is a limited-edition Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey released in 2025 as the 21st expression in the distillery’s prestigious Master’s Collection. Created under the direction of Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall, this release explores the distinctive influence of Chinkapin oak on bourbon maturation, highlighting the relationship between barrel selection and flavor development.
Bottled at 110.4 proof (55.2% ABV), Sweet Oak delivers a rich, complex profile featuring mulled cherries, raisins, warm baking spices, toasted oak and roasted walnuts. The palate develops layers of sassafras and black tea, leading to a lingering finish of oak and dried dark fruit. Presented in a 700ml bottle, this limited release showcases Woodford Reserve’s approach to exploring distinctive American oak varieties.
