The Russian River Valley expression showcases Pinot Noir through a fruit-forward yet balanced style, with blackberry and Bing cherry complemented by subtle vanilla and forest-floor notes. The winery emphasizes minimal manipulation to preserve the wine’s natural expression.
The fruit is hand-harvested into small bins during the early morning to preserve freshness, then hand sorted and partially destemmed. After a 5–7 day cold soak and 10–12 day fermentation in small open-top fermenters, the wine is matured in French oak barrels, adding complexity while maintaining bright acidity and supple tannins.
